Will competitors for this year please note the following:

The NWAS has affiliated to the Welsh Pony & Cob Gelding Incentive scheme – Overall Gelding Champion and Reserve, to be competed for by the highest placed geldings from each appropriate section within sections A, B, C & D generously sponsored by the Millcroft Stud.

Cymdeithas Bridwyr Gwynedd Breeders Association Rosettes presented in Sec. A, B, C, D & WPB to highest placed exhibits in the Foal and Yearling, classes. In Section A classes, rosettes will also be presented in the female 2 years old & over classes. Exhibits must have been bred by exhibitor who should be a member of the Association. Rosettes awarded to highest placed members in classes 38 to 42. Red armband must be worn and membership card to be signed by the judge in the ring.

Rheolau/Rules
• The Judges decision is final. Any objections must be made within
20 minutes of the class competition ending, with a deposit of £20,
to be forfeited if the objection is over-ruled.
• The Committee or any official or judge, or any steward acting
on behalf of the show committee shall not be held responsible for
any damage, loss or injury caused by or to any animal, or any property,
competitor or spectator.
• No responsibility will be taken for any entrant missing a class
after it has been called. The Committee cannot be responsible for clashing
of classes and competitors should bear this in mind when making their
respective entries
• No entries will be accepted without the correct entry fee being
paid at the time of entry.
• All classes are liable to be split, if the entries are large enough, combined
if entries are too small to warrant individual judging.
• The committee reserve the right to change classes if required to a
different ring to facilitate the smooth running of the show.
• Cups to be returned to the Secretary 6 weeks prior to the date of
the show and undamaged.
• In the interest of effective Health & Safety everyone must take all
reasonable precautions to prevent accidents and must obey any
instructions of show officials and/or stewards in this regard.
• All riders must wear correctly secured riding hats which conform to either
BSI 4472/6473, EN1384, PAS015 or PAS accredited hats and must be
worn at all times when mounted.
• In the event of any rider being unseated in the ring then that rider and
animal must leave the ring unmounted and not continue in their class.
• In the event of the show being cancelled an admin charge of £2 will be
retained by the show per individual entry.
• All colts and stallions over 2 years old must be suitably bitted and
handlers must 14 years of age and over
• Mares with foals under 3 weeks of age must not be shown
The Society’s rules and regulations will be posted on the
show field. A copy can be obtained on request
*Please note that it is the responsibility of the exhibitor to
produce their Horse Passport for inspection if required.
