Rheolau / Rules

C1 - All livestock intended for exhibition must be on the show field by 9.00 A.M and must remain on exhibition until 4.00 P.M
C2 - All animals entered for competition, except in the commercial beef classes, must be entered or certified as eligible to be entered in their respective Society’s Herd Book or grading Up register
C3 - All bulls above one year shall have rings in their nose and be led by an attendant
C4 - All bulls under one year shall have ring or bulldogs in their nose
C5 - All cattle must be brought secured with a halter to the satisfaction of the stewards of the section or they will not be admitted to the show ground
C6 - No cow, unless in milk or in calf, will be eligible for a prize. If in milk she must be certified either at the date of entry or between the date of entry and that of the Show, or have a living calf, or of the calf is dead, was born at its proper time – within twelve months preceding the date of the Show, a formal certificate to this effect must be signed by the exhibitor. The date of the last calving must be entered on the certificate
C7 - This section is staged in accordance with the special conditions issued by the Welsh Office Agriculture Department for Accredited Shows and includes accommodation facilities for animals which are Enzootic Bovine Leukaria (EBL) attested. Such animals must be declared on the entry form and exhibitors must ensure that their animals are kept in the marked areas. All such animals must be accompanied by the certificate of attested status.
